Convention 2027
April 16th and 17th,
Venue: Holiday Inn & Suites, Edmonton Airport & Conference Center, 1100 4th Street, Nisku, AB, T9E 8E2
Details: The convention will begin Friday morning (9:00 AM) April 17 and conclude Saturday April 18 mid afternoon. It is a hybrid event with some delegates attending online.
Convention theme: “JOY” - Nehemiah 8:10 “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Those participating in-person: $350.00 per person
Those participating via ZOOM: $175.00 per person
In person registration fees include lunch, refreshments and supper on Friday and breakfast, refreshments and lunch on Saturday. Accommodations must be booked separately.
Registration fees must be received by the Treasurer before April 8th to participate in the convention. We strongly recommend using e-transfer for payment. Please use this email address for e-transfers: treasurer@calc.ca.
Accommodations: Holiday Inn - Edmonton Airport is offering a block of rooms for our convention at a group rate. The rooms are a mix of rooms with two queen-sized beds or one king-size bed. These rooms will be offered at the rate of $95.00 per night plus applicable taxes. The convention rate will be available for April 14 to 18. Rooms must be booked by April 5 to receive this rate. You must register by phone at 1-780-979-0839 and use promo code “CALC” when registering.
Airport Transfer: The Holiday Inn runs a shuttle to and from the Edmonton International Airport 24 hours a day.
Financial Assistance: CALC maintains a designated fund known as the "Gathering Fund." Grants from this fund are designed to maximize attendance at CALC's two annual gatherings, the Pastors' Retreat and the General Convention. Grants are available for delegates to CALC's 2027 annual general convention and pastors' retreat. The maximum grant is $700.00 per person. The grant may be used to cover the costs of registration, accommodations and travel related to the convention or the pastors' retreat. Nominations. An election will be held on Saturday April 17 to fill 3 vacancies on National Council: Vice President, Treasurer and one member of the Board of Trustees ( remaining two year term). Details: The Conference will be held on April 15th. It begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. This is an in person event. There will be no online participation.
