Convention 2026
April 17th and 18th, Edmonton, Alberta
Venue: Glacier Room - Holiday Inn & Suites Edmonton Airport - Conference Center, 1100-4 Street, Nisku, AB, T9E 8E2.
Details: The convention will begin Friday morning (9:00 AM) April 17 and conclude Saturday April 18 mid afternoon. It is a hybrid event with some delegates attending online.
Convention theme: Our convention theme is drawn from Matthew 28 “Come and See…Go and Tell.”
Keynote Speakers: Reverend David Wollan and Reverend Kip Tyler will be our keynote speakers during our annual education day for all our delegates and visitors. Their presentations will be on the theme of outreach and evangelism. Click here for more information.
Registration Fees:
Those participating in-person: $350.00 per person
Those participating via ZOOM: $175.00 per person
In person registration fees include lunch, refreshments and supper on Friday and breakfast, refreshments and lunch on Saturday. Accommodations must be booked separately.
Registration fees must be received by the Treasurer before April 14, 2026, in order to participate in the convention. We strongly recommend using e-transfer for payment. Please use this email address for e-transfers: treasurer@calc.ca.
Accommodations: Holiday Inn is offering rooms at the rate of $95.00 per night plus applicable taxes. Rooms must be booked by April 3 to receive this rate. Please note that the online option is for four nights: checking in Wednesday April 15 and checking out Sunday April 19.
Financial Assistance: CALC maintains a designated fund known as the "Gathering Fund." Grants from this fund are designed to maximize attendance at CALC's two annual gatherings, the Pastors' Retreat and the General Convention. Grants are available for delegates to CALC's 202 annual general convention and pastors' retreat. The maximum grant is $700.00 per person. The grant may be used to cover the costs of registration, accommodations and travel related to the convention or the pastors' retreat. To be considered for a grant, fully completed applications must be received by midnight Friday March 31, 2026 (EST) Click here to access the application.
Nominations. An election will be held on Saturday April 18 to fill a vacancy on National Council: one position on the Board of Elders (four year term). 2026 Conference

Details: The Conference will be held on April 16th. It begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. This is an in person event. There will be no online participation.
